Rotary Driving RYDA Workshop To Success

Rotary members from Encounter Bay, Goolwa & Victor Harbor coordinated a RYDA driving awareness workshop for South Coast students. Over 250 students participated over the two days (Friday 3rd and Friday 10th September 2021) which was an excellent turn out. RYDA features a highly engaging and memorable one-day workshop that provides students with an understanding of road safety and gives them the tools, habits and motivation to take action and stay safe on our roads as both drivers and passengers. The workshop sessions are designed to be held in small classroom sized groups and led by a team of trained facilitators including Police, driving instructors and other community sector specialists.

Art Show Sponsors Dinner – Naming Rights Winner

Wednesday night, 8 Sept 2021, we saw Rotary in Action at the Major Sponsor Draw for the 2022 Art Show which was held at the Crown Hotel.
It was a great night with over 90 people present. The Art Show Team were all kept busy during the night & thank you to the club members who also came along and mixed with the sponsors, it was a great night for Rotary PR. The main event on this night is the reverse draw to see who wins naming rights to the upcoming Art Show. This is done by placing all the sponsors names in a hat then drawing them out with the last name out being the winner. We had 2 contenders still in the mix but in the end, you can only have 1 winner and the lucky sponsor was Brook Green from Glow Heating & Cooling Electrical
We are now looking forward to a successful Glow Victor Harbor Art Show in 2022! – John Mowling Art Show Chair 2021/22
