Tree Planting at Geoff Walker Reserve

On Saturday 25th July 2020, 14 members of Victor Harbor Rotary attended at the Geoff Walker Reserve, Joy Street, Encounter Bay and planted over 300 trees, shrubs and native grasses to supplement the plantings that members have planted over the past three years.  Most of the earlier plantings have progressed well. Lee, from City of Victor Harbor spoke of the work our club has carried out and it is most appreciated.  Members will be asked during the year to water the new plants.  This project is one of many small community projects that the club has carried out. Report by Brian Liddy, Project Coordinator.
